Who We Are

Cal Habitat is a humanitarian student organization that manages a variety of volunteer events and service projects to support underprivileged populations. We strive to make a lasting positive impact on communities through service, education, and advocacy. Our success comes from the support of student volunteers, community partners, and our local affiliate, Habitat East Bay/Silicon Valley.

Since our inception in 1999, hundreds of students have joined our cause, and we have grown into one of the largest campus chapters in the country. Together, we are working towards a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
